From there, the adventure unfolds across the rich landscapes of the Bogotá savanna and the Andean foothills, visiting remarkable reserves such as Rogitama Biodiversity Reserve, home of the rare endemic Black Inca and a spectacular diversity of hummingbird jewels.
As the tour continues through the lush forests of the Chocó region and the cloud forests around Tinamu Birding Nature Reserve, photographers will enjoy exceptional feeder setups, natural perches, and unique multi-flash opportunities to capture hummingbirds in breathtaking detail. The grand finale takes place in the dramatic high Andes near Los Nevados National Natural Park, where páramo landscapes and steaming volcanic valleys host legendary species such as the elusive Buffy Helmetcrest and the stunning Rainbow-bearded Thornbill. Arrival in Bogotá or pick up at the hotel and drive to Cerro Monserrate at 3.000 M.A.S.L. to do our fisrt pictures of the Colombian Hummingbirds, Glowing Puffleg, Swor-billed Hummingbird, Blue-throated Strafrontlet, Black-tailed Trainbearer, Green-tailed Trainbeearer, Mountain Velvetbreast, White-bellied Woodstar and others, then, go back to Bogota, night in Bogota.
Visit Fute Reserve to try the stunning Golden-bellied Starfronlet and other jewels of the Bogota Savannah, in the afternoon, we drive 3 hours to Rogitama, night in Rogitama.
Full day in Rogitama Reserve to see the rare and endemic Black Inca, we can also try for Lazuling Sabrewing, Short-tailed Emerald, Gorgeted Woodstar, Longemar’s Sunangel and others, in the afternoon, back to Bogota.
Early flight to Pereira and drive 2/30 hours to Mistrató in the Choco Region, afternoon to see and photograph our first bunch of Hummingbirds of this region, night in Mistrató.

Glamping Color de mis Rêves to set up hummingbirds multiflash and feeders, in the afternoon, drive to Hacienda El Bosque at 3.200 M.A.S.L.
Full day in Hacienda El Bosque, a special place to enjoy Hummingbirds of altitude.
Ealy drive to Nevados National Park at 4.000 M.A.S.L. to try the elusive and enigmatic Buffy Helmetcrest, then visit Termales de Ruiz to see more Hummingbird species like the beautiful Rainbow-bearded Thornbill, finally, drive 40 minutes to Hacienda El Bosque.
Try once more for the Buffy Helmetcrest and the Rainbow-bearded Thornbill, likewise other species in that special ecosystem, in the afternoon, we will drive 2 hours to the airport in Pereira City.
